4H
A youth development program for ages 5 - 18 which provides a supportive setting for young people to reach their fullest potential. They learn life skills through community focused education programs to create competent, caring, responsible individuals.
Members choose project areas they wish to learn more about such as Animal Science, Dog Obedience, Bicycling, Gardening, Clothing, Natural Resources, Crafts Photography, Computers and Small Pets. There are fairs, shows, contests and other events to participate in. 4 H members attend monthly club meetings at one of the Manchester area's groups. Call for information.

North Carroll Senior Activites Center
Located at 2328 Hanover Pike in Greenmount, the North Carroll Senior Activities Center provides nutritious meals and opportunities for education, recreation and socialization for seniors age 60 and over. Activities include BINGO, Cards, Games, Crafts, Health Discussions, Meals, Movies, Music, Dancing and Pool/Billiards. Boy Scouts
The Boy Scouts of America is committed to serving young people by offering programs that develop and foster the values, confidence, self-esteem and skills they will need as adults. Girl Scouts
How can girls serve their community, develop lasting friendships, expand their horizons, learn new skill and increase their self-confidence while having lots of fun? By joining the Girl Scouts!
Working together with adult volunteers, girls are introduced to a broad range of activities enabling them to appreciate the importance of community service and ethics while developing their own special talents and abilities.

Sea Scouts
Ship 320 Program, part of the Venturing division of the Boy Scouts of America, Sea Scouts is for young men and women ages 14 - 20. With a nautical theme, the program builds and reinforces fitness, character and civic responsibility. Members learn the principles of safe boating and may complete the Maryland Safe Boating Course. Girl's Ministries & Royal Rangers
North Carroll Assembly of God welcomes your children and family to participate in our Wednesday evening programs each week from 7-8:30pm. Our programs are an exciting evening where your children will learn more about God's Word, relationships, discipleship and life-based skills.
