The following listings are from local merchants and vendors who would love for you to visit them. Manchester Area Merchants Association (M.A.M.A.) The mission of MAMA is to support the Manchester economy and to promote the businesses of its members by implementing activities designed to encourage community relations and a healthy business environment. The Association began when a small group of business owners started meeting on a regualar basis to discuss a variety of concerns raised throughout the community, such as traffic congestion, vandalism and the drought. MAMA has become a valuable community asset in the Town of Manchester. Area businesses are invited to become a member of MAMA. Annual dues are $50 per year. Membership entitles you many networking and marketing opportunities and exposure on our website (www.ManchesterAreaMerchantsAssoc.org). MAMA sponsors many community activities such as the annual Black Friday Christmas Open House, local fire and police department events, the Neighborhood Block Party and North Carroll High School scholarships. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month at noon and alternate between MAMA members, The Dutch Corner and Spargo's restaurants.
